Dim Vortep (real name Dima Petrov, born May 10, 1987. Vorkuta, Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) is a Russian video blogger, gamer, director, screenwriter, writer, photographer and just mother of a pretty guy.
Childhood and education
Born on May 10, 1987 in a working class family where mom (Lena) was a doctor and dad (Vova) worked as a bus driver and also as a miner, Dima is the second child, 4 years younger than his older brother Vladimir. Dima’s childhood passed in Vorkuta on Pishchevikov Boulevard, 20, where his family lived in a 3-room apartment where my mother’s parents used to live. Dima also often visited grandparents in the beautiful quiet city of Veliky Ustyug. In 1995, he moved with his parents to the city of Syktyvkar before living a year in Moscow. In 1997, he became a first-grader at secondary school No. 3, which is located in a beautiful birch grove along 35 Tenyukovskaya Street. Throughout the entire school period, he studied at least 3-4, the most favorite subject was mathematics. From 1st to 4th grade he studied Russian folk dances and also took part in the school choir. After studying 9 classes, I went to apply for a programmer, but alas, there were not enough pass points in connection with this I went to study as a carpenter. I also wanted to study as a veterinarian, but alas, at that time it was problematic to get to school because I lived far away. In 2000, he participated in the championship for the game Quake 2 in the city of Syktyvkar, taking 10th place.
Nickname
The very first nickname of Dima was Pushkin, more precisely, was the yard nickname, he was called so because he was curly. Then, when growing up, the nickname began to change in accordance with the habits and interests of Dima. Once Dima loved the ALF series about an alien who settled in a family of Americans. And in the city of Veliky Ustyug, my friends and I formed an interest company, so to speak. We danced Break Dance and just hung out. Our party was called Crazy Zoo and everyone who was in it should have come up with nicknames. Well, Dima at that time began to call himself Alph. Under this nickname, he is still called by some friends from childhood. Over the years, the name (nickname) has changed. When it was the first time creating mail on the site mail.ru Dima decided to call himself adminkomi. The well-known game Need For Speed World at Dima was nickname VIP11RUS. Then, as YouTube appeared in his life, Dima called his first channel DedMazayGame, but as he saw that after that new channels with similar names began to appear. Dima began to think about a nickname that is not on the Internet and one evening chatting with his cousin Tolik (COK11rus) they came up with just changing the combinations of Dima's initials by remaking Dima under Dim and his last name Petrov just turning it over to turn it around Vortep. Since then, Dima has renamed all social networks and channels under this nickname and since then it has become like a trademark (label)
Game activity
Since childhood, and more precisely since 1997, I play various computer games. I also play professionally on the nerves. As a child, he participated in the Quake2 championship in his city (Syktyvkar), took 10th place. He was also part of the GKS2 team for cs 1.6. For a long time I played in LineAge 2, you can say lived in the game =) but this is in the past. It was still when the first computer clubs appeared in our city. Since at home, alas, the computer was not so powerful. Before the computer, my brother and I had a SEGA console. Our dad bought it when we all lived in Moscow. I might not have started playing games so early if I hadn’t watched dad as he goes level by level in the same Quake 2, Half Life. At that time, we still didn’t have YouTube and I was, so to speak, alive and the only spectator on dad's real stream. Even sitting next to it was exciting to watch how dad goes through the game and meets on the way more and more powerful monsters.

Somewhere in the age of 20 I began to get involved in photography, at that time I bought myself a Lumix Dc Vario soap dish. Then, for my birthday, my mother gave me a SLR camera. Which I still use. This is a Nikon D3100. But during this time, having bought a couple more lenses for him. Also, in addition to photography, I was engaged in a little Photoshop. I studied photos and photoshop on video on YouTube. So from time to time I still try to do something new. Since it’s a little interesting to me.
Sports activities
In childhood, my parents gave me karate, but alas, I took only a couple of lessons. Then I started swimming most of all because I could not swim. But slowly I was drawn into this sport and I swam a couple of years. I learned a little about Break Dance. Once they even performed in a sports bar at the stadium in Syktyvkar. In addition to dancing, he began to engage in roller-skating and skateboard. Just a little parkour. I didn’t just twist somersaults and climbed skyscrapers, but just in my rhythm passed various obstacle courses that were in my way. Then his first bike appeared and then it started. I have not gotten off my bike for almost 15 years now I have already replaced more than one iron friend. One was generally stolen when I had to buy a new one in the morning but found the old one a day later. Now 2020 is already outside the window and I am saving up money to remake my bike in electro. There is a small dream on it to drive 400 km to the city where my grandmother lived. And also for the first time to see the sea and get to it by bicycle.
